Smash Bay didn’t start in a commercial kitchen — it started with late-night burger experiments, a small griddle, and an obsession with getting everything just right: the smash, the crust, the sauce.

I’m Austen — I built this from scratch. No culinary school. No investors. Just a deep love for food and a desire to make people say “holy **, that’s good.” What began as a dream quickly became a full-time mission to bring some of the best smash burgers to Connecticut.

We’re not just about great food — we’re about doing things the right way. Real ingredients. Zero shortcuts. A sauce that took way too long to perfect. And a passion for talking food with both customers and aspiring food truck owners alike.
